Jane Francessa Stanley

Jane is an artist from the East Sepilc Province of P.N.G who has been sewing, knitting and making bilum for 33 years. She learned how to make bilum from her aunt and learnt her skills in sewing and knitting from her older sister. Currently Jane makes wool bilums (with and without zippers), string bilums, P.N.G meri blouses and icaftan, knitted ladies bags, bilum, baby carriers and small purses. Jane truly hopes to start a successful business for her art to support her family and be financially free.
